#MomentOfFaith Trust is scary. The world has taught us, in one way or another that to place trust in someone can hurt us. However, there is someone who will not break their promises. Who we can trust wholeheartedly. We just have to be willing to jump.
Paths are a funny thing. Some are winding. Some are straight. There are some that may be covered in brambles and haven’t seen daylight in ages. Yet, they all lead somewhere
We sometimes get so wrapped up in “He said, she said,” that we forget. We forget that people in general cannot stand against us when we have God on our side.
“God knows my heart.”
That statement is usually said before, during, or immediately after doing something that we as Christians have no business doing at all…
Without God. That’s a tough statement. Without God it can get a bit…ok a lot rough. When we let life, distractions, even others dictate the amount of time that we are spending with God we succumb to a week that then rolls into months and years of what amounts to spiritual starvation….
Often times we ask God to change us, to clean us and to make us over and then we fight Him every step of the way. We question evey move, disobey every directive, and complain when changes take place.
It’s hard when you’re young…..
I don’t mean young as in you are a teenager or in your early twenties. Granted those are indeed hard times, filled with teenage angst, acne, college, and learning that life well…sometimes sucks.
I mean it’s hard when you are young in Christ. When you are just a babe, freshly saved…or even saved for a long time but not quite mature.
