Fighting Thoughts

You ever get a song lyric stuck in your head or a thought, a reoccurring disruption?
You know what I mean. The type of thought or song or anything really that catches you unawares when it comes back around and you can never seem to quite get rid of it? It’ll just pop up when you are trying to:

-Read your bible

-Pray

– Have a discussion on or with God

So, God knows my Heart

“God knows my heart.”

That statement is usually said before, during, or immediately after doing something that we as Christians have no business doing at all…

Assigned to Move

It’s easy how we sometimes forget that we have the power to move mountains. To forget that the word tells us we can. To forget that we can be assigned…

Change Me Lord

Often times we ask God to change us, to clean us and to make us over and then we fight Him every step of the way. We question evey move, disobey every directive, and complain when changes take place.

No More Limits

We as a human race have a tendency to sometimes think only in the possible, and the honest truth is that God works in the impossible

Trouble Don’t Last

I’m so glad! Trouble don’t last always!
I’m so glad! Trouble don’t last always!

Skipping Leg Day

Usually this is something that you would only hear in the gym.

What this means is in this instance is don’t be buff on top (spiritually-singing praise, occasionally reading the Bible, Church on Easter and Christmas, quoting scripture) and have a weak foundation (never work out the legs- praying, fasting, fellowship, regularly attend Church, worship, in your Word regularly, developing a RELATIONSHIP with God, applying scripture).

Do you Trust?

#AMomentOfFaith
Will you let go?….
I’ll trust you, Lord….
Will you stand on My word?…
I’ll trust you, Lord…

Distracted by Distractions

Distractions are a strange thing….
You see, they never bother you when you are not doing what you are supposed to be doing. That is to say those, distractions don’t come when you are not walking in the will of God, or at least trying too, anyway.

We did that to Ourselves…

You know that feeling you get when you knock a cup over?

That feeling of, “man this really sucks, but I kind of did it to myself,” as we watch the liquid spread across the table, then onto the floor, as we now rush around to mop it up. Usually spreading it around making a bigger mess before it starts to actually clean up into something resembling a presentable mess.
